Patient Chart: Electronic Medical Record.

A Familiar Layout.
You will notice the Patient Chart is designed to look familiar to a Paper Chart. On the left hand side you have the Main Navigation Bar starting with any known allergies and in the center the latest transcribed Note.

Medical Chart.
The Medical Chart is the driving core of the EMR. This is where most information is entered and documents created.

External Documents.
All documents and images created outside of the system can be uploaded to this area and filed in its respective folder.

Summaries.
Over time as you enter information in the system the information is also sorted to specific folders. For example, every time you create a Note and add Vital Signs you can either access previous notes through the Notes folder in the Medical Chart or you can go to Summaries and find all past Vital Signs in chronological order. Lets move on.
